Aquatrols Sixteen 90 is a high-performance, super-concentrated wetting agent specifically designed for turf and landscaping applications. It improves water infiltration, reduces water runoff, and enhances soil moisture retention by modifying the surface tension of water. Application Rates:

• Initial Application:  Begin applications at least one month prior to the onset of stress conditions. Under high stress situations, such as presence of localized dry spot (LDS), above average growing degree days (GDD), and/or low rainfall, an application of Aqueduct® should be applied 7 days prior to the first application of Sixteen90.

• Application Rates & Frequency: 

  • *90 Day: 16 oz./ 1000 sq. ft.

  • *90 Day Split (Repeat application in two weeks): 8 oz./1000 sq. ft.

  • **30 Day: 4 - 6 oz./1000 sq. ft.

  • **14 Day: 2 - 4 oz./1000 sq. ft.

• Application Notes:

  • Variables which impact performance and program application can be: soil type, presence of localized dry spot, quality of irrigation water, growing degree days, and rainfall levels. 

  • *For best results, apply at least 1/3 inch (7.5 mm) of irrigation after application. If runoff or puddling occur, water in using cycle/soak runs until 1/3 inch (7.5 mm) is achieved.  Irrigate before next mowing. Sixteen90 is exceptionally safe when applied as directed and does not produce any initial decline in turf quality. For control beyond 3 months, a subsequent application of 8 fl oz/1000 ft2 (240 ml/100 m2) in 2 gallons (8 L) of water may be required for extended performance through the fall period. 

  • **For best results, apply syringe irrigation after application. Irrigate before next mowing.

Restrictions:

• Do not apply in freezing conditions or when soil temperatures are below 40°F (4°C).

• Avoid application during heavy rain or when significant rainfall is expected within 24 hours after application.

• Do not apply to sensitive plants or new transplants until established.

• Not recommended for use on aquatic sites or in direct contact with water sources.

Safety:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear gloves, eye protection, and suitable clothing when handling the product.

• Handling & Storage: Keep the product in a cool, dry place away from children, pets, and food sources. Avoid storing near open flames or excessive heat.

• First Aid: If the product comes into contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 15 minutes. If swallowed, seek medical attention immediately. If skin contact occurs, wash with soap and water.

• Environmental Safety: Avoid excessive runoff to water sources. Use the product responsibly to minimize potential environmental impact.
