Octane

(Pyraflufen-ethyl)

8 oz Bottle

Give your customers the instant satisfaction they desireOctane® herbicide provides the necessary fuel to your current broadleaf weed control program needed for a rapid kill.  Today’s lawn care consumer demands dead weeds and they don’t want to wait weeks to see results.  With new Octane herbicide, you can now show your customers the results they want when they want them.  Visual herbicidal results are evident within 24 - 48 hours of application of Octane herbicide.

Tough on broadleaf weeds, gentle on the environmentOctane herbicide takes out the toughest broadleaf weeds in a matter of days with minimal effects on the environment.  Pyraflufen-ethyl, the active ingredient in Octane has an extremely short soil half-life of less than 1 day, which means Octane will breakdown rapidly in the soil following application.  Octane provides outstanding results with very little active ingredient per acre, further reducing its potential impact on the environment.  Octane’s low water-solubility and vapor pressure limit it’s potential off-target movement to crops or sites, instead remaining right where you spray, on the weeds.

Versatility allows you to “Boost every tank with Octane”Octane can be tank-mixed with any broadleaf herbicide to boost its performance.  Octane will boost your current broadleaf herbicide’s speed of kill no matter what herbicide you choose and because it is rainfast in only 1 hour, your risk of losing activity due to inclement weather is minimized.  This kind of versatility will make it easier for you to make the choice to “Boost every tank with Octane”.

Rid lawns of broadleaf weeds, not the grassWhile Octane is extremely active on broadleaf weeds, it is gentle on desirable turfgrasses.  Cool season turfgrasses such as Kentucky bluegrass, perennial ryegrass, and tall fescue and warm season turfgrasses like bermudagrass, centipedegrass, St. Augustinegrass and zoysiagrass have shown to have excellent tolerance to Octane herbicide†.

Premium performance with little inputIncreased profits are the objective and Octane is a product that can help you achieve that goal.  With rates of less than 4 oz. per acre as a stand-alone product and less than 1.5 oz. per acre in tank mixes, Octane allows you to pump up your broadleaf herbicide tank with the kind of “boost” you need to eliminate costly call backs, while keeping your input costs to a minimum.  Now you don’t have to pay premium prices for premium performance.

Octane has not been tested on all varieties and cultivars of species listed above.  SePRO recommends testing at your specific location prior to large-scale applications.

Broaden your broadleaf herbicide’s spectrum.Octane has outstanding efficacy on a number of broadleaf weeds, and will broaden the activity spectrum of many of today’s most common broadleaf herbicides, while dramatically enhancing kill time.
