Product Overview

Syngenta Trimmit® 2SC is a plant growth regulator formulated to help manage the growth and appearance of turfgrass, trees, and shrubs. It contains Paclobutrazol (22.9%), an active ingredient that inhibits gibberellin synthesis, effectively slowing vertical growth while promoting lateral spread and root development. This results in a denser, more resilient plant structure, reducing maintenance needs and improving overall plant health.

Application Rates

Turfgrass Applications:

• Cool Season Grasses (except putting greens): Apply at 0.25 to 0.5 lbs. ai/acre

• Bentgrass Putting Greens: Apply at 0.10 to 0.25 lbs. ai/acre

• For Best Results: Apply using 2-3 gallons of water per 1,000 sq. ft. for even coverage.

• Reapply every 6-8 weeks depending on growth conditions.

Restrictions & Precautions

• Do not apply to turfgrass under severe stress (drought, disease, extreme temperatures).

• Avoid application on newly established turf until well-rooted.

• Do not use near water bodies to prevent contamination.

• Keep off treated areas until sprays have dried.

• Not labeled for use on certain sensitive species – check the label for restrictions.
