QualiPRO Bifenthrin Golf & Nursery 7.9F is a professional-grade insecticide designed to control a broad range of pests in golf course turf, nurseries, and other ornamental landscapes. The active ingredient, Bifenthrin, is a synthetic pyrethroid that works by disrupting the nervous system of insects, providing effective long-lasting control. Its fast knockdown and residual activity make it ideal for use in turfgrass, ornamentals, and landscaping applications.
Benefits:
Broad-spectrum pest control: Targets a wide variety of pests, including ants, grubs, ticks, beetles, caterpillars, and more.
Residual effectiveness: Offers long-lasting control, providing protection from re-infestations.
Fast knockdown: Works quickly to eliminate pests upon application.
Versatile use: Suitable for golf courses, nurseries, and ornamental plantings.
Use Rates:
Turfgrass: Apply 0.25 to 1.0 fl oz per 1,000 square feet depending on the pest species and the severity of the infestation.
Ornamentals: Apply 5 to 40 fl oz per acre, depending on plant type and pest pressure.
Restrictions:
Do not apply when rain is expected: Bifenthrin's effectiveness can be reduced if it is washed away before it has a chance to dry.
Restricted entry interval (REI): 12 hours.
Do not apply near bodies of water or in areas with a high risk of runoff, to prevent environmental contamination.
Do not apply in excess of recommended rates to avoid phytotoxicity or resistance buildup.
Avoid drift: Take care to minimize drift during applications to prevent damage to non-target plants.
Safety:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Always wear protective gloves, long-sleeve shirts, long pants, shoes, and socks during application. A respirator may be necessary for certain application methods or environments.
Environmental Hazards: Bifenthrin is toxic to aquatic life. Avoid contamination of water bodies by ensuring no runoff occurs.
Storage & Disposal: Store in a cool, dry place away from children and pets. Follow label directions for proper disposal of unused product and containers.
