Product Description:
Nufarm Velocity® PM is a powerful post-emergent herbicide designed for the selective control of tough broadleaf and grassy weeds in rice crops. Formulated with the active ingredient Bispyribac-sodium, it provides effective, systemic weed control, helping to maximize yield potential. This herbicide is absorbed through foliage and roots, disrupting weed growth by inhibiting acetolactate synthase (ALS), a critical enzyme in plant development.

Application Rates & Timing:

• Rate: 0.38 to 2.25 fl. oz./acre

  • Application Timing: Apply when weeds are actively growing, ideally between the 2- to 5-leaf stage.

• Adjuvants: Use with a recommended surfactant to improve uptake and effectiveness.

Use Restrictions:

• Do not exceed the maximum annual application rate specified on the label.

• Avoid drift to non-target crops, as Bispyribac-sodium can cause damage to sensitive plants.

• Pre-Harvest Interval (PHI): Follow label guidelines for required waiting periods before harvesting.

• Tank Mixing: Ensure compatibility with other herbicides or pesticides before use.
