Lebanon Treflan 5G (Trifluralin)
Product Description:Lebanon Treflan 5G is a granular pre-emergence herbicide that contains the active ingredient Trifluralin. It provides effective control of a wide range of annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in various crops. As a selective herbicide, it works by inhibiting root development in weed seeds, preventing them from emerging and establishing themselves. This herbicide is commonly used in agricultural fields, particularly in crops like vegetables, fruits, and ornamental plants.
Benefits:
Pre-emergence Weed Control: Lebanon Treflan 5G is highly effective in controlling weeds before they germinate, preventing the need for post-emergence treatments.
Long-lasting Protection: The formulation provides long-lasting residual activity, ensuring that crops remain free from weed competition for an extended period.
Non-Phytotoxic: When applied correctly, it poses no harm to the crops being treated, providing a safe and reliable option for growers.
Easy Application: Being a granular formulation, Lebanon Treflan 5G can be applied with standard granular spreaders, making it user-friendly and easy to incorporate into the farming routine.
Weed Control:Lebanon Treflan 5G controls a broad spectrum of weeds, including:
Annual grasses: Crabgrass, Barnyardgrass, Goosegrass, Foxtail, and others.
Broadleaf weeds: Pigweed, Lambsquarters, Purslane, and others.
Application Rates:The application rate of Lebanon Treflan 5G depends on the target weed species, the crop type, and the soil conditions. Typically, the application rate ranges from:
80 lbs per acre. Ensure that the herbicide is applied evenly over the soil surface and incorporated into the soil by light cultivation or irrigation.
Restrictions:
Do not apply Lebanon Treflan 5G to crops that are sensitive to Trifluralin or those listed on the label as restricted.
Avoid applying if heavy rain or irrigation is expected soon after application, as this can cause runoff and reduce efficacy.
Follow local regulations for usage to avoid potential restrictions in certain regions.
Do not apply to soils with poor drainage or areas prone to erosion.
Safety:
Wear protective clothing, including gloves, goggles, and a long-sleeve shirt, when handling and applying the herbicide.

If exposure occurs, immediately wash the affected area with soap and water. In case of eye contact, rinse with plenty of water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
