Description:
SePRO Octane is a fast-acting, broad-spectrum contact herbicide formulated for post-emergent control of various broadleaf weeds and sedges. Its active ingredient, Pyraflufen-ethyl, works by disrupting chlorophyll production, leading to rapid desiccation and weed control. Octane is ideal for use in turfgrass, ornamental beds, nurseries, and certain agricultural applications, providing effective knockdown without long residual activity.

  Clover (White & Red)
  Dandelion
  Ground Ivy
  Henbit
  Mustards
  Oxalis (Yellow Woodsorrel)
  Plantain (Broadleaf & Buckhorn)
  Spurge (Prostrate & Spotted)
  Thistle (Canada & Bull)
  

• Sedges:Yellow Nutsedge
  Purple Nutsedge (suppression)
  

Application Rates:

• Turfgrass: 1.0 to 6.8 fl. oz. per acre, depending on weed pressure and turf tolerance

  • Ornamentals & Landscapes: 0.1 to 4.0 fl. oz. per acre

Restrictions & Safety:

• Do not apply to stressed or dormant turf

• Avoid contact with desirable plants and flowers – Octane is a contact herbicide

• Do not mow within 24 hours before or after application

• Rainfast in 1 hour – Avoid irrigation or rainfall shortly after application

• Restricted-entry interval (REI): 12 hours (for agricultural use)

PPE Requirements:

• Long-sleeved shirt and pants

• Chemical-resistant gloves

• Protective eyewear

• Avoid inhalation of spray mist
