Corteva Defendor Herbicide with the active ingredient Florasulam is a selective post-emergence herbicide designed to control a broad spectrum of broadleaf weeds in turfgrass, non-crop areas, and other sites. Florasulam, a member of the sulfonylurea class, acts by inhibiting an enzyme essential for weed growth, thereby stopping the weeds from developing further.

Application Rates:

• General Application Rate: 4 oz. per acre (0.09 oz. per 1,000 sq ft)

• Recommended Spray Volume: 20 to 40 gallons of water per acre, depending on the growth stage of weeds and the application equipment.

Restrictions:

• Do not apply to sensitive crops, ornamental plants, or garden areas.

• Avoid application during windy conditions to prevent drift.

• Do not apply if rain is expected within 2 hours of application.

• Reentry Interval (REI): 12 hours.

• Do not exceed the recommended maximum rate per year to avoid damage to turf and non-target plants.

Safety:

• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear protective gloves, goggles, and long sleeves when handling the product.

• Applicator Safety: Avoid inhalation of spray mist or direct skin contact. Wash thoroughly after handling.
