Corteva Confront Herbicide
Description:
Corteva Confront is a selective post-emergence herbicide formulated to control a wide range of broadleaf weeds and brush species. With active ingredients Triclopyr and Clopyralid, Confront is designed to offer effective and long-lasting weed control in pastures, rangeland, non-crop areas, and natural areas. The combination of these two powerful active ingredients ensures both systemic and contact activity, making it ideal for tough-to-manage weeds.
Active Ingredients:
Triclopyr: A systemic herbicide that translocates through the plant to control perennial and woody plants.
Clopyralid: Targets broadleaf weeds and is effective on both annual and perennial species.
Benefits:
Effective on a Broad Range of Weeds: Targets a variety of both broadleaf and woody species, making it ideal for integrated weed management programs.
Systemic Action: Triclopyr works by moving through the plant to eliminate roots and prevent regrowth, while Clopyralid targets specific weed growth points.
Reduced Application Frequency: Due to its long-lasting effects, Confront typically requires fewer applications.
Minimal Impact on Grass: It selectively controls weeds while being safe for grasses, making it suitable for pasture and rangeland use.

Restrictions:

Avoid spraying during windy conditions to prevent drift onto desirable plants.
Do not apply on areas with sensitive crops, including legumes and grasses used for seed production.
Adhere to local regulations for herbicide use and consult with state authorities regarding specific restrictions in sensitive areas like wetlands.
Do not apply if soil erosion is likely to occur, as runoff could damage non-target plants.
