Syngenta Posterity XT
Broad-Spectrum Fungicide for Turf and Ornamental Plants
Description:
Syngenta Posterity XT is a powerful, multi-active ingredient fungicide designed to offer robust protection against a wide range of fungal diseases in turf and ornamental plants. This unique formulation combines three active ingredients—propiconazole, pydiflumetofen, and azoxystrobin—to deliver fast, long-lasting control of major turf and ornamental diseases. Whether you're managing commercial turf or maintaining ornamental landscapes, Posterity XT provides the reliable protection needed to keep plants healthy and disease-free.
Key Benefits:
Broad-spectrum control: The combination of propiconazole (DMI), pydiflumetofen (SDHI), and azoxystrobin (QoI) ensures control over a wide array of fungal pathogens, including Dollar Spot, Brown Patch, Powdery Mildew, and other common turf and ornamental diseases.
Multi-mechanism action: The diverse modes of action from three different fungicides help reduce the risk of resistance, ensuring longer-term efficacy.
Systemic activity: The formulation is both locally systemic and translaminar, ensuring thorough coverage and deeper penetration into plant tissues for long-lasting protection.
Enhanced plant health: In addition to disease control, Posterity XT can help improve overall plant vitality, promoting robust growth and better stress tolerance in both turf and ornamental plants.
Easy-to-use: With its flexible application methods and excellent tank-mix compatibility, Posterity XT is simple to apply and fits seamlessly into your integrated pest management program.
Application Rates:
Turfgrass: Apply 1.0 to 1.5 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. depending on disease pressure and turf type. For preventive control, apply at the lower rate; for curative control, use the higher rate.
Ornamentals: For ornamental plants, apply 1 to 1.5 fl. oz. per 100 gallons of water, adjusting based on plant size and disease severity.
Application Guidelines:
Timing: Apply Posterity XT before disease symptoms appear for preventative control, or at the first sign of disease for curative action.
Frequency: Make applications every 14-21 days depending on environmental conditions, disease pressure, and plant type.
Coverage: Ensure complete and uniform coverage on both the upper and lower surfaces of foliage, as well as stems and other exposed plant parts.
Sprayer Calibration: For best results, calibrate your sprayer to deliver the appropriate volume per acre or per 1,000 sq. ft.
Avoid application during extreme heat or windy conditions to reduce stress on plants and minimize the risk of drift.
Safety Information:
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): When handling or applying Posterity XT, wear long-sleeved shirt, long pants, gloves, and protective eyewear.
Re-entry Interval (REI): 12 hours after application.
Environmental Safety: Avoid direct contact with water bodies to protect aquatic organisms. Ensure proper drainage to prevent runoff into water sources.
Resistance Management: Rotate Posterity XT with fungicides from other classes to delay resistance buildup and maintain effectiveness.
Caution:
Do not apply if rainfall or irrigation is expected within 2 hours of application.
Do not exceed the maximum labeled rate for your turf or ornamental species to avoid potential phytotoxicity.
With its robust combination of propiconazole, pydiflumetofen, and azoxystrobin, Syngenta Posterity XT offers advanced protection for both turf and ornamental plants, helping you achieve healthier landscapes with less effort and more confidence.
