Syngenta Daconil Zn is a broad-spectrum, contact fungicide designed to provide effective disease control in turfgrass and ornamental plants. Application Rates & Methods

  • Turf- Pre Disease Rates: Apply at 1.4 to 8.0 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. in sufficient water to ensure even coverage.

  • Turf- Post Disease Rates: Apply at 3.0 to 8.0 fl. oz. per 1,000 sq. ft. in sufficient water to ensure even coverage.

  • Ornamentals: Apply at 2.0 pints per 100 gallons of water, ensuring thorough coverage of foliage.

  • Interval: Applications should be made at 7 to 28-day intervals, depending on disease pressure and environmental conditions.

Use Restrictions & Safety Precautions:

  • Do not apply to home lawns or residential landscapes.

  • Restricted-entry interval (REI): 12 hours post-application.

  • Do not apply when conditions favor drift to non-target areas, particularly near water sources.

  • Avoid tank-mixing with products that may cause phytotoxicity.

  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Applicators should wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants, chemical-resistant gloves, and protective eyewear.

  • Environmental Hazards: Toxic to aquatic life; avoid runoff to water bodies.

  • Do not apply more than 52 pints per acre per year on turfgrass.
