Description:
Syngenta Ascernity is a broad-spectrum fungicide formulated with two powerful active ingredients, Benzovindiflupyr (SDHI class) and Difenoconazole (DMI class), offering long-lasting, preventive, and curative disease control for golf course turfgrasses only.

Ascernity is highly effective against various turfgrass diseases, including

  • Brown Patch (Rhizoctonia solani)

  • Dollar Spot (Clarireedia spp.)

  • Anthracnose (Colletotrichum cereale)

  • Gray Leaf Spot (Pyricularia grisea)

  • Leaf Spot (Bipolaris spp.)

  • Summer Patch (Magnaporthe poae)

  • Large Patch (Rhizoctonia solani)

  • Snow Mold (Microdochium nivale, Typhula spp.)

  • Take-All Root Rot (Gaeumannomyces spp.)


Application Rates & Use Recommendations:

  • Golf Course Turf, Sports Fields, and Other Professional Turf Areas:Rate: 1.0 fl oz per 1,000 sq. ft.
    Interval: Apply at 14- to 28-day intervals, depending on disease pressure.

Restrictions & Safety Guidelines:

  • Do Not Apply to home lawns or residential sites.

  • Avoid Application During Extreme Heat to prevent stress on turf and ornamentals.

  • Restricted Entry Interval (REI): 12 hours after application.

  • Do Not Exceed the maximum annual rate specified on the label.

  • Resistance Management: Rotate with fungicides from different FRAC groups to delay resistance development.

  • Avoid Runoff or Drift to protect nearby water sources and non-target plants.


Safety Precautions:

  • PPE Required: Wear gloves, protective clothing, and eye protection during mixing and application.

  • Environmental Hazard: Toxic to aquatic life; avoid application near water bodies.

  • Storage & Handling: Keep in a cool, dry place away from children and pets.

  • First Aid: In case of accidental exposure, wash affected areas thoroughly and seek medical attention if irritation persists.
