Product Description:
SePRO Captain® XTR is an advanced liquid algaecide designed for fast and effective control of a broad range of nuisance algae in lakes, ponds, reservoirs, irrigation canals, and other water bodies. It features an enhanced formulation with a proprietary surfactant system that improves penetration into tough algal mats, ensuring superior results compared to standard copper-based algaecides. Captain XTR works quickly to restore water quality, enhance clarity, and prevent algae from negatively impacting aquatic ecosystems.

Active Ingredient:

• Copper Ethanolamine Complex – 28.2%

Application Rates:

• Planktonic algae: 0.6 to 3.0 gallons per acre-foot.

• Filamentous: 0.6 to 3.0 gallons per acre-foot.

• Macrophytic: 1.2 to 3.0 gallons per acre-foot.

• Apply when algae growth first appears for best results.

Use Restrictions:

• Do not exceed 1.0 ppm of elemental copper in treated water.

• Not for use in water sources used for drinking without proper regulatory approval.

• Avoid applying near areas with heavy organic sediment buildup.

• Some plant species may be sensitive to copper—consult local guidelines.

Safety and Precautions:

• Always wear appropriate PPE, including gloves, goggles, and protective clothing.

• Avoid direct contact with skin and eyes; rinse immediately if exposed.

• Do not apply in a manner that may result in direct exposure to non-target organisms.
