Precision Laboratories New Balance: pH Acidifier / Nonionic Surfactant
Description
Precision Laboratories New Balance is a high-performance pH acidifier and nonionic surfactant designed to optimize the effectiveness of pesticides, herbicides, and foliar nutrients. It works by adjusting the pH of spray solutions, improving absorption and translocation while reducing potential alkaline hydrolysis of sensitive active ingredients. The nonionic surfactant component enhances coverage and penetration, ensuring superior performance of applied products.
Key Benefits
pH Adjustment: Lowers spray solution pH to prevent degradation of pesticides and other chemicals susceptible to alkaline hydrolysis.
Enhanced Coverage: Improves the spread and adherence of sprays on leaf surfaces for better absorption.
Increased Uptake: Boosts penetration and translocation of active ingredients, leading to improved efficacy.
Versatile Compatibility: Works with a wide range of herbicides, fungicides, insecticides, and foliar nutrients.
Improved Performance: Reduces spray drift and evaporation, ensuring more of the product reaches its target.
Application Rates
General Use: 8.0 - 40.0 oz. of New Balance/ 100 gallons of spray solution
(Note: Always refer to product label and tank-mix partners for specific recommendations.)
Restrictions
Do not apply at rates higher than recommended as excessive surfactant may cause phytotoxicity.
Not intended for use in ultra-low-volume (ULV) applications.
Avoid mixing with strong alkaline substances unless compatibility is confirmed.
Keep out of reach of children and unauthorized personnel.
Safety & Handling
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): Wear gloves, goggles, and protective clothing when handling.
Storage: Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area, away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
First Aid: In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse thoroughly with water. If ingested, seek medical attention immediately.
Environmental Precautions: Avoid runoff into waterways to prevent contamination of aquatic ecosystems.
For more detailed instructions and safety precautions, always consult the product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
